A Celebration of Pat Conroy. Jonathan Haupt is the co-editor of the anthology “Our Prince of Scribes: Writers Remember Pat Conroy,” and winner of 17 book awards. He will talk about Beaufort’s Conroy Center and Pat’s rough entrance into being a published author and how those experiences compelled him to be a champion and mentor to so many of his fellow writers from that point onward. He’ll also discuss Pat’s creative process and the Lowcountry as his setting, muse, and character.
