Joy is the author of many bestselling books, including “A Tangled Mercy” and “Under a Gilded Moon.” She served as a Baptist chaplain at Harvard University and has taught writing and literature at Tufts University and Baylor University. She is visiting to talk about her latest book, “Echoes of Us” — the story of three men who met in a POW camp during WW II and reunited years later on St. Simons Island.
