Coming-of-age/comedy/drama – Norway, 2022, directed by Joachim Trier. Renate Reinsve, who plays the main character Julie, won Best Actress at Cannes. This film follows Julie from her mid-20s to her early 30s. She’s exploring life, both educationally and emotionally. We see her change careers from a budding surgeon with good college grades to a psychologist to a photographer to a bookstore clerk. All just long enough to know that this isn’t what she wants. She’s still searching.
