Tuesday, April 2,10:30 a.m. Shelia McNeill and What Are You Doing Here? The Navy League is the only civilian organization dedicated to supporting the sea services—the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Flag Merchant Marine. Sheila was the National President of the Navy League of the United States from 2003-2005 and she was constantly asked, when attending conferences, meetings, etc. as a speaker, “What are you doing here?” Her new book, a compilation of stories from years of work with the Navy League, answers that question.
G. J. Ford Bookshop will be selling copies of Ms McNeill’s book at the event, and we encourage you to purchase your book there and have it signed by the author. Our local independent bookstore makes many of our author appearances possible. Too many books? Why not purchase one, read it and then donate it for our annual book sale or the library?
This event is free to Literary Guild members. Not a member? Join here or join at the event. Guest tickets are $10 each. Click here for tickets.
