J. Doug Parker author of A Killher Plan: Behind The Crime Scene Tape. Douglas Parker retired from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation after serving 30 years. He provided protection during events such as the riots in Forsyth in 1987 and extremists’ marches involving the KKK. He was responsible for developing a training course for law enforcement and providing threat assessment and supervision for the Olympics and Para Olympics in 1996 in Atlanta. His book is a true crime that he investigated while a special agent for the G.B.I. Embedded in the story are accounts of other investigations that are interwoven to provide insight into the course of action taken by a homicide investigator along with interesting stories of Parker’s upbringing in a law enforcement family in the south.
