Meet the Author: Delia Owens

Delia Owens, author of Where the Crawdads Sing, is the co-author of three internationally bestselling nonfiction books about her life as a wildlife scientist in Africa including Cry of the Kalahari. She has won the John Burroughs Award for Nature Writing and has been published in Nature, The African Journal of Ecology, and many others. She currently lives in Idaho. Where the Crawdads Sing is her first novel. The New York Times calls it “a painfully beautiful first novel that is at once a murder mystery, a coming-of-age narrative and a celebration of nature.”

G. J. Ford Bookshop will be selling copies of Ms. Owen's book at the event, and we encourage you to purchase your book at the coffee so you can have it signed by the author. Our local independent bookstore makes many of our author appearances possible. Too many books? Why not purchase one, read it, then donate it to our book sale or the library?

This event is free to Literary Guild members. Not a member? Join here or join at the event. Guest tickets are $10 each.  Click here for tickets.
