Always a crowd pleaser, Charles has written over 12 top selling novels including The Mountain Between Us, which was turned into a major Hollywood film in 2017 starring Kate Winslet and Idris Elba. He visits the Guild to talk about his latest book, Send Down the Rain, the story of a 62 year old Vietnam vet who’s been keeping a secret for 45 years but something beyond his control brings him out of hiding and forces him to wrestle with whether or not to tell the secret. Problem is, if he tells it, somebody dies. If he doesn’t tell it, somebody dies.G. J. Ford Bookshop will be selling copies of Mr. Martin’s book at the event, and we encourage you to purchase your book at the coffee so you can have it signed by the author.
