Telling the Truth Through Fiction

Author Lauren Wolk will give a presentation (over Zoom) about her writing process — especially a reliance on spontaneity and sensory images––and discuss the power of pairing opposites: the universal with the personal, fact with fiction, and autonomy with the audience. The hour will include visual writing prompts, a chance to share the results, and a Q&A. This workshop is for all levels of experience. A group discussion will be held after Lauren’s presentation.

Nikki Walkbridge, English Department Chair at Frederica Academy, will be the facilitator.
