A docudrama about Seretse Khama (played by David Oyelowo), who was the son of a king of Botswana. While being educated in London in 1947, he meets Ruth Williams (played by Rosamund Pike), who he weds to the ire of nearly everyone on the planet. His marriage to a white woman upsets the neighboring nations of Botswana, especially South Africa introducing apartheid. 111 minutes; rated PG13.
